Jason is western Canada’s only full time competitor on the Nascar Canadian Tire Series. The commitment shown to travel across the country many times a year to compete  is a testament to the family racing values he has grown up with. Jason’s dad Marty was a fierce competitor at many levels, including Nascar Modifieds and ultimately USAC supermodifieds. Throughout his career, Marty gathered many trophies including two Nascar titles and an extremely impressive Supermodified championship, racing amongst the likes of Tom Sneva, Billy Vuckovich, Gary Bettenhausen, Rich Vogler and many more. Add to the mix Jason’s older brother Jim with his multiple championships (most notably the 2006 Cascarwest title), and you have the mentors to create another champion in the family.

In 2003 Jason won the Cascar track championship at Motoplex Spedway (Vernon, BC). This sparked plans to enter the Cascar West series and in 2005 was crowned “Rookie Of The Year”! Moving into the Nascar Canadian Tire Series, Jason would take his racing blood to a national level, and with the support of A&W Food Services of Canada, compete on a full time basis  and again become the “Rookie Of the Year”, this time at  Canada’s highest level of Motor sports.

Recently Jason has combined forces with Harvey Ambrose and his Kawartha Speedway group. Derek Lynch will crew chief and 2010 series champion DJ Kennington will provide the team technical support and his Dad Doug’s famous Dodge “Hemis”!!

The pieces are all in place, now Jasons focus is to win races!!
